Google Pixel 8 Pro's built-in thermometer was spotted in a leaked video, which is considered to be its first.

As of writing, Android fans are still waiting for this new Google smartphone. The Google Pixel 8 series is expected to be released before 2023 ends.

Numerous rumors about this Android smartphone lineup are already spreading on the internet. However, none of them are videos.

Now, the first leaked Pixel 8 Pro video finally appears, revealing the built-in thermometer and other changes.

According to Android Police's latest report, the new leaked video showed the built-in thermometer of the new Google Pixel 8 Pro.

This footage came from 91Mobiles. The source explained that there will be a new sensor located below the LED flash.

This sensor would be a dedicated infrared thermometer, which can be used to measure the temperature of the body.

The leaked video showed how it works. To use this built-in thermometer, it should be pointed at the user's bare skin (so remove your glasses and other accessories).

After that, just put the sensor as close as possible to your forehead. Then, click the button until the phone vibrates. Hold it for four seconds to scan your temperature.

Pixel 8 Pro's New Design

Aside from the built-in thermometer, the new design for the upcoming Google Pixel 8 Pro also appeared.

Based on the leaked video, the new Android smartphone will have a punch-hole front camera similar to the Pixel 7 Pro.

It will have three cameras, which are all clubbed inside a pill-shaped module. Aside from these, the new Pixel 8 Pro also has a metal frame housing for the camera module.

Although these newly leaked details about the upcoming Pixel 8 Pro are quite exciting, you must remember that the video didn't come from Google.

This means that it will be best for fans to take the new footage with a grain of salt. Besides, the estimated release date of the device is nearing.

Specifically, it is expected to be launched as early as September or October. If you want to see the Pixel 8 Pro, watch the YouTube video below.

Aside from the new Google Pixel 8 Pro, there are also other exciting new Android devices that will arrive.

Previously, rumors about the new OnePlus Ace 2 Pro claimed that it would have a curved screen and the Snapdragon 8n Gen 2.

We also reported about the estimated release date of the upcoming Realme 11 Pro+ on May 16.
