Google has just released its latest round of updates for June 2023, bringing some exciting improvements to its services. Among the highlights is an optimized user interface (UI) for the Google Wallet app on foldable smartphones.

If you have one of these devices, you'll enjoy a Wallet UI tailor-made for your big screen. To make payments or use passes, close your foldable phone, as noted by 9to5Google.

Google has rolled out the newest update for the System following several improvements, including the Gpay support for foldable devices and Wallet animations.

The first feature to be tackled is the much-needed update for the Find My Device network. Since last year, Google has been looking to improve its service to compete with Apple with the same branding. The first time that the company hinted about it was during Google I/O 2023.

Furthermore, this update is expected to debut in late 2023. By the time of its release, both Pixel 8 and Android 14 might have this functionality.

Expanding the Find My Device network is helpful to establish a "privacy-centric" framework for the devices, Android Headlines mentioned in its report. It's important for smartphones, other gadgets, and accessories.

Gpay Support For Foldable

Another thing to consider is the Gpay support for foldable devices, which is anticipated to be available before the launch of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 5, and of course, Google Pixel Fold.

For some reason, Google has not yet shared some information about this, but it's already tailored for Galaxy Z Fold 4. When making a Wallet payment, Google says there's a need to close the foldable phones.

Google Wallet 'Animation' Display

In another report by Android Headlines, users can soon switch off "fun animation" on the Google Wallet displays. You can do this right after the transaction is made on the platform.

You will be prompted for the Google System update by your Google TV. That's the time when you will be asked to download and install the latest update for the changes to take effect.

These improvements are made possible in line with the Google Play services v23.22, which was first dropped last Tuesday, June 6.
