Bringing characters to life may be challenging, especially if it is from a comic book or about an alien life form, but Disney Parks are set to deliver a free-roaming robot in the form of baby Groot to one of its theme parks.

Disneyland is not introducing a new attraction or show with this new offer, but rather a mechanical being that visitors may see soon. The baby Groot robot will be the only member of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" that will have the opportunity to stroll around Disney Parks soon. It will feature his cute antics and famous one-liner speech from the movies.

Disney Are Set to Bring a Robot Baby Groot to Disneyland Parks

The latest announcement from Disney Parks highlighted the exciting development of a robot that can walk around the theme park freely, and it is in the form of the famous baby Groot from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney is bringing the character to life, but instead of opting for a mascot, Disney created a mechanical robot for all to interact with.

Joel Peavy, an executive R&D Imagineer of the Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development, said this new robot would roam Disneyland and brings its quirks and antics for all. The robotic Groot, which can walk, dance, gesture, and emote in style, will surely bring enjoyment to park visitors.

According to Interesting Engineering, the baby Groot robot will be of a similar size to what people have seen in movies and will be deployed soon to the park after its development is done.

Groot is one of the many robots that Disney has developed to be available in its theme parks, with the mechanical actors bringing these characters to life in a fashionable way.

Disney: Marvel's Famous Groot

When Marvel's first "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie was released in 2014, it took the world on a cosmic adventure and introduced characters that were famous in the comics.

One of the characters that soared to global fame was the last Floral colossus, Groot, best known for his towering appearance and a one-line phrase, "I am Groot." Aside from extending his limbs, he can also shoot vines from them to wrap around enemies and objects.

Groot is best known for his undeniable bond with Rocket Raccoon, another Guardians member, and his buddy in the film franchise. These two alien life forms were iconic figures previously used to inspire the younger generation toward space exploration.

Marvel gave Groot massive roles in the movies, and he became one of the fan favorites to see at comic conventions and Disney's Marvel exhibitions in theme parks. However, instead of putting people in Groot costumes, the latest unveiling of Disney Parks' development center on a Groot robot roaming freely in one of the theme parks soon.
