The famous and controversial brand known as MSCHF has debuted another product that is blowing the minds off the internet now, and this is its microscopic Louis Vuitton-style handbag that will soon go on auction. This neon green handbag is small, and is as big as a grain of salt, meaning that users would not be able to put something in it unless it is smaller than the bag.

MSCHF debuted a new product in its latest Instagram post from last week, and it centers on the "Microscopic Handbag" which is made from a Photopolymer resin encased in glass covers. The Brooklyn-based company said that this handbag is a statement to the designer bags that are releasing lately, losing their function, and becoming a "brand signifier" only.
"There are big handbags, normal handbags, and small handbags, but this is the final word in bag miniaturization. As a once-functional object like a handbag becomes smaller and smaller its object status becomes steadily more abstracted until it is purely a brand signifier," said MSCHF.
The miniature handbag features the Louis Vuitton logo on its microscopic design and is set to be sold at Pharell William's JOOPITER platform, under the Just Phriends collection. The bidding will start on June 19, and the Microscopic Handbag is set to expected to sell at around $15,000 to $25,000.
MSCHF's Microscopic Handbag: Why Did it Make One?
The MSCHF handbag comes as a statement against designer brands that debuts handbags that are getting smaller in size for each release.
However, despite the massive statement and its being sold to auction, it is unknown if it got permission from Louis Vuitton to make a miniature version of its bag for MSCHF to sell via auction. Moreover, there are no lawsuits yet regarding the pullout of this product from auction, despite it previously facing a significant one from Nike.
MSCHF and Other Controversial Products
We all know about MSCHF's highly-trending and iconic Big Red Boots which was similar to what the beloved Japanese manga and anime character, Astro Boy, wore as he fights crime. However, MSCHF is also known for its controversial "Satan Shoes" which it made with Lil Nas X, featuring a Nike Air Max 97 shoes with demonic inscriptions and each pair having a drop of real human blood.
Nike sued MSCHF to have it pulled out, as well as received significant backlash from the likes of South Dakota's governor.
Still, this is not the only product that was met with controversy, as the company features multiple products from other brands which it revamps with its style.
With Louis Vuitton being one of the most famous designer brands in the world, this tiny product may bring massive implications to MSCHF. Moreover, it is unknown how it would fare in auctions, especially as the handbag has no other purpose than to be displayed for a person willing to buy this microscopic item, or if they know of an ultra-tiny creature that may be able to use it.
