Grace Breeding (TASE: GRAC), a forward-thinking AgClimateTech company developing biological-based agriculture products, announces the results from a field study conducted, in collaboration with the State University of Londrina (UEL), on soybeans in Brazil using its ProMagenTM  foliar formula. Among the major takeaways from the months-long field study: The ProMagenTM solution proved viable for plant resilience enhancement and disease tolerance, as well as demonstrated the ability to boost farmer yields by an additional six bags of soybeans per hectare, valued at US $130.

As the Green Revolution swept across the globe, Brazil saw the total planted land area more than tripled from 28.7 million hectares in 1960, to 86.7 million hectares in 2021. To meet the standards and demands of international markets, Brazil, like many other countries, began using synthetic molecules, such as pesticides. But several environmental problems arose from the use of these synthetic molecules, including contamination of groundwater, chemical residue in food products, and health problems affecting farmers and consumers. 

The soybean field tests carried out in Brazil, and in collaboration between Grace Breeding and UEL, demonstrated several additional key benefits to using the ProMagenTM formula that support the enhanced plant tolerance and increased yield findings. ProMagenTM demonstrated greater control efficiency for most of the soybeans' characteristics when compared to the industry standards. The field test results indicate Grace Breeding's ProMagenTM has the potential to boost the efficiency of chemical and biological active ingredients in disease control, which boosts healthy plant functions.
