After being exclusively available in Apple Arcade, ININ Games officially announced that Air Twister is coming to PC and several gaming consoles. This becomes the latest video game to make the jump from Apple Arcade. 

Air Twister: Releasing to PC, Gaming Consoles

Fans now have the chance to experience the epic arcade shooter on home consoles and their personal computers as INN Games announced Air Twister would be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Xbox this coming November 10th. According to Engadget, this becomes the latest video game to make the jump from Apple Arcade after being exclusively available during its release in 2022.

Air Twitser is the brainchild of Yu Suzuki, one of the most influential game developers of the arcade craze. Suzuki designed several hits in the market, including Out Run, After Burner, Virtua Fighter, and Space Harrier. The game might be familiar to you or might catch your attention last year as it was the first release of Ys Net.

Similar to Space Harrier and Suzuki, the game's storyline follows Princess Arch on a mission to prevent her planet's total destruction. Air Twitser was credited by Suzuki as a twist on a game he first thought in the 80s. However, the game was not created during those times, given that the technology before was not that advanced compared to now.

Air Twister's Features

As per the released statement from the developers, Air Twister will feature 12 artfully crafted stages with different and new experiences each time gamers play. 20 Vanguard creatures and 10 unique bosses will be challenged with these skills, with simple controls for a fun experience. While simple touch controls will be included, players can also connect a gamepad for an arcade-like experience. 

Players can also choose modes like Boss Rush, Arcade, and Turbo while exploring a series of minigames and unlocking new challenges through the Adventure Map. If players can not wait until November to play the game on their PC and gaming consoles, Air Twister can still be played via IOS and Mac.

Dutch music composer Valensia will be featured on Air Twister's official soundtrack. Nintendo Life reported that the composer had been known for over 30 years now, keeping the musical rock and opera heritage of the band Queen's greatest hits.

CNET reported that Apple Arcade had been continuously adding new games that cater to large audiences while also featuring smaller developers at the same time. This means that other offerings might also launch on different platforms in the future.
