Ubisoft is reportedly changing the way it's trying to attract new subscribers to its Ubisoft Plus service. The new changes no longer give users a 7-day free trial and instead, the services will just charge users $1 for the first month.

Ubisoft is Changing Its Ubisoft Plus Subscription from Free Trial to Discounted First Month

According to the story by Pure Xbox, not too long ago, Ubisoft reportedly gave its users a free trial promotion to its popular "Ubisoft Plus" service. As of press time, the company is changing its deal from a free-trial model to a heavily-discounted approach for the first month.

It was noted that when first-time users sign up for Ubisoft Plus, they would only be charged $1 for the first month. As for the UK, the users would only be charged £1 or €1, with no price changes or updated changes for other currencies reported yet.

It was noted that the users would be able to get the Ubisoft Plus on Xbox and PC at the introductory price for a limited time period. Specifically, users will only have until August 9 to avail of the promotion.

Users Can Apply for the $1 Monthly Promo Via the Official Ubisoft Plus Pages

Those interested in the deal located in the US can apply for the $1 month on the official Ubisoft Plus US page. As for those in the UK, they would have to go to the official Ubisoft Plus UK page to claim the subscription.

It's also important to note that the users that sign up to the discounted first month will be auto-renewed the next month at full price. This means that should users only want to try Ubisoft Plus when it's affordable, they would have to turn off the auto-renew setting.

The article by Pure Xbox gives users a tip on how to make the most out of their Ubisoft Plus subscription, since this could result in another monthly expense should they subscribe for a long period of time.
