The recent leak for the next COD game to release this 2023 has made a massive buzz in the industry, with the developers still centering on a remake sequel for last year's game.

In a cryptic tweet by Call of Duty's official Twitter account, the team was quick to confirm the details of the next game, especially as a recent leak surfaced regarding the next Call of Duty game. The tweet talked about asking for an energy drink, whereas, Monster, was the first one to leak the new game poster.

The recent tweet seems like confirmation about its next-rumored title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, a game that also follows its 2022 remake of the more popular MW2.

Call of Duty's latest tweet is celebrated by fans and gamers who also saw the initial leak from those that were quick to pick up this recent poster from Monster Energy, despite it being taken down immediately. Still, there are no blatant confirmations yet from Activision Blizzard or the Call of Duty account regarding this new game.

Monster Energy's Ads Leaked Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Ads from Monster Energy have given the next Call of Duty a hint for the next title which seemingly confirms initial beliefs and speculations on the next game.

However, despite this detailed look on the new poster, there seems to be no release dates for the game, with Activision Blizzard also not yet confirming its drop this year.

Speculations still center on the usual release window for Call of Duty titles which is around the Fall season, particularly from October to November.

Call of Duty's Expansion and Next Game for 2023

Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward are completing the trifecta of the highly-successful Modern Warfare series of the mid-2000s, as the initial leaks already pointed out that the next game would be its MW3 remake. This follows the successful release of last year's Modern Warfare 2, one of COD's most beloved games of all time.

The gaming community was torn when the news and leaks of the initial speculations on the next COD game would be, especially as Activision Blizzard is focusing on another game remake, this time from 2011.

Still, it is one iconic game from Activision Blizzard's library, especially with it completing the original trilogy's story that was well-received by gamers.

With MW2's success, it may have been ideal for Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward to remake another old Call of Duty game for modern gaming platforms now. With its recent leak and confirmation, there is a lot to expect and look forward to for the next COD game, but its release date remains unknown, as there are still no official announcements from its developers.
