As always, the new iPhone Pro lineup is expected to be more expensive than its predecessor.

According to a reliable source, iPhone 15 Pro models might allegedly be $100 or $200 more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro series.

While the previous iPhone Pro variants are already expensive for some buyers, the new models which are expected to drop next month will surely hurt their pockets.

If the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max currently sit at $999 and $1,099 respectively, the forecasted pricing of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are $1,199 and $1,299.

According to MacRumors, this means that they can potentially surpass the prices of their predecessors yet the sales of the 2023 iPhone models will suppress their sales.

The tech publication writes that the sales could hit around 77 million units this year which is low for new devices.

When it comes to shipments, the iPhone 15 Pro family could likely hit around 83 million units, contributing to a "wider" decline of over 5% year-on-year.

Last month, Tech Times reported that Jeff Pu, a renowned analyst from Haitong International Tech Research shared some insights about the pricing of iPhone 15.

According to Pu, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the top-tier variant of the lineup, will receive the biggest price increase in 2023. No specific specs are provided about this model yet it's already anticipated that getting it won't be easier than in 2022.

The report added that the price increase might be because of the advanced features of the iPhone 15 Pro including the periscope lens and a new sensor perfect for low-light photography.

Further information about the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models is expected to be announced by the Cupertino giant for the upcoming Apple event on Tuesday, Sep. 12.

Ahead of the September 2022 launch of iPhone 15, the pre-orders are expected to start on Friday, Sep. 15.

iPhone 15 Pro Max Could See Delays in Shipment

In another story by GSM Arena, the deliveries of the iPhone 15 Pro Max could likely be delayed. This would likely be moved between Oct. 6 and 13, according to an analyst.

The report says that the problems with screen deliveries could be the problem. Apple might have been prompted to demand more from Samsung since LG and BOE can't keep up with the requirements.

Elsewhere, a Forbes report says that a new leak about iPhone 15 Pro could surprise fans for its "blazing-fast increase in performance."

Unknownz21, the leaker behind this information says that the iPhone 15 Pro will get an improved CPU, GPU, processor, and RAM. It will also allegedly get a 3nm manufacturing process.
