Samsung launched its newest flagship memory card, the Pro Ultimate series, in response to rising storage demand, especially for high-quality picture and video material.

Samsung's Pro Ultimate memory cards, which are offered in both microSD and full SD form factors, are made to accommodate a variety of producers, from classic DSLR users to contemporary drone and action camera aficionados.

Enhanced Performance to Meet High Quality Content Demands

The latest Samsung memory cards include a revolutionary 28-nanometer architecture that improves power efficiency so that devices may operate longer on a single charge yet perform better, according to Tech Radar.

The Pro Ultimate series is distinguished by its outstanding read and write speeds. The cards provide excellent performance with read rates of up to 200MB/s, making them perfect for processing demanding files like 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) and Full HD (FHD) films with Video Speed Class 30 (V30) compatibility.

The A2 Application Performance Class 2 (A2) allows high-performance random read and write operations and multitasking on the Pro Ultimate microSD card, which is ideal for users who demand fast transfers and efficient content management.

Samsung highly values the Pro Ultimate series' dependability. The cards' sophisticated Error Correction Code (ECC) engine and multi-proof security features guarantee safe data storage for lengthy periods. Improving the ECC's Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) algorithm increases card durability and write-and-erase cycles.

The Pro Ultimate series has a 28-nanometer (nm) controller, which results in a 37% increase in power efficiency over earlier versions using a 55-nm controller. This advancement increases the battery life of electronics and lowers heat production.

According to Camera Jabber, numerous devices, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, PCs, and laptops, are compatible with the Pro Ultimate SD card, while a wide range of gadgets, including action cameras and drones, are compatible with the microSD equivalent of Samsung's latest memory card.

Price Ranges and Availability

The chief of Samsung's Memory Brand Product Biz Team, Hangu Sohn, stressed the importance of meeting the demands of expert producers who deal with high-resolution material. He said the new Samsung Pro Ultimate series meets these demands with improved controller technology and multi-proof protection.

Samsung Pro Ultimate memory cards have a five-meter drop-proof design, 10,000 swipe protection, X-ray and magnet safeguards, shock protection of up to 1,500kg, and the ability to function in -25°C to 85°C.
