There is still a Nintendo Direct coming this year claims a leaker, and this is after the recent showcase of the company of the same name right on August's end, featuring the Japanese company's biggest game this year. This next Nintendo Direct event would cover the rest of the company's releases for the rest of the year, highlighting more of what it has to offer to the public.

On the present, Nintendo already had two Direct events to showcase the latest games and updates for the world, with the earlier one centering on Pikmin 4, and the most recent one revealing Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Renowned leaker called NateTheHate2 has taken it to X to answer the budding questions of fans and gamers of Nintendo regarding an upcoming Direct event, with users raising their concerns for the company's next showcase.

Last August 31, Nintendo revealed its biggest game of 2023 for its beloved franchise, unveiling the Super Mario Bros. Wonder to the world that would arrive by October 6. Despite the Nintendo Direct only ending that day, gamers still asked the question of the next one, especially as September is a known regular date for the company to hold its famed showcase event.

NateTheHate claimed that this August 31 showcase would not negate the Nintendo Direct event that is slated for September, suggesting an event is still coming.

When is the Next Nintendo Direct?

When asked by another user when the "rumored" Nintendo Direct would take place this month, the leaker replied with "soon-ish," but did not reveal the exact date to expect the showcase.

Considering that Nintendo always holds a Direct event during September of each year, this year would still bring the awaited showcase despite having two last August.

Nintendo's Recent Offers, Leaks

For the past weeks and months, Nintendo has been a hot topic because of the alleged arrival of the next-generation Switch console, the successor to the iconic portable device from the company. Reports claim that Nintendo executives are "hoping" for a smooth transition from the Switch to its next-gen gaming console, one that remains a rumor.

Many titles are also set to get unveiled this year, still awaiting Nintendo Direct to bring the news to the public.

Still, various leaks have centered on the Nintendo Switch 2, an anticipated console that would see its replacement after almost seven years in the market, since it was first released in 2017. Over the years, Nintendo revealed different variations of the original Nintendo Switch console, namely the V1, V2, and the most recent being the OLED version.

The world is still awaiting Nintendo's different announcements via a Direct showcase that would tackle numerous aspects of the company's offers, including the new titles and what to expect from its future. Despite August seeing two consecutive Nintendo Direct events already, the leaker still believes that there is another one coming, hopefully, to bring more news to gamers this September.
