In a few hours, Apple is set to host its highly anticipated "Wonderlust" event, where we are expecting a whirlwind of exciting reveals, including the rumored iPhone 15 and Apple Watch updates.

Event Time and Format

The event, which you can watch on YouTube or Apple's website, is scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT, taking place live from the iconic Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

While Apple has shifted to prerecorded video presentations since 2019, this year is expected to be no different.

Members of the press will gather at Apple Park to witness the same video presentation that will be streamed worldwide.

iPhone 15: Four Models to Wow You

The iPhone 15 rumors have been swirling for months, and today is the day we finally get to see what Apple has in store.

If leaks and speculations hold, the iPhone 15 lineup will consist of four models: iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max.

The most significant change, making headlines even before the event, is the transition from the Lightning connector to the widely used USB-C port

This move complies with the European Union's regulations and is expected to enable faster data transfer rates across the board.

Reports from industry insiders suggest that only the Pro and Pro Max models will benefit from the speedier USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3, while the base iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will support USB 2.0.

iPhone 15 Pro: A Premium Experience

Under the hood, the iPhone 15 Pro models may be powered by a blazing-fast A17 chip built using a 3-nanometer process, further boosting performance and efficiency.

Meanwhile, one of the most exciting rumors surrounding the iPhone 15 Pro Max is that it includes a periscope lens with up to 6x optical zoom.

Moreover, both iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to introduce an "Action Button," which could replace the traditional mute toggle and offer customizable shortcuts.

Apple Watch Updates: Series 9 and Ultra 2

Apple's smartwatch fans are in for a treat as well.

Today, we anticipate the unveiling of the Apple Watch Series 9, with improvements expected in performance and efficiency thanks to the new S9 chip. Based on the A15 processor, this chip promises better battery life and enhanced capabilities.

If rugged elegance is your style, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 may be the right fit. The update is expected to include a darker titanium case, adding a touch of sophistication to your wristwear.

AirPods Pro: USB-C Integration

Not to be overshadowed by the iPhone and Apple Watch, speculation exists about a new AirPods Pro release featuring a USB-C-equipped charging case.

While the AirPods may not undergo significant changes, the USB-C integration is an essential step in compatibility and convenience.

Operating System Updates: iOS 17 and More

As tradition dictates, Apple may announce the release dates for iOS 17 and watchOS 10 during today's event.

These updates are likely to bring a slew of new features and enhancements, further elevating the user experience across Apple's ecosystem.
