A new glitch on Apple TV+ is affecting the platform's content playback. With this glitch, users experience episodes reportedly cutting off endings with its credits playing first.

Apple TV+ New Glitch Results in Foreign Language Ending Credits Showing Up at the Start

According to 9to5Mac, the new glitch results in the ending credits found on foreign language films that dub credits usually show at the start. That then serves as the new intro for the show users are watching.

So far, it has been revealed that there is another issue related to the recent glitch wherein affected episodes would end before they should, cutting the displays short. It means that some viewers might even miss the whole climax of the final scene.

The Issue Cuts the Content Short, and the Episodes End Early Without the Show Finishing

The new issue concerning the credits happening in the wrong order was the reason behind the knock-on issue wherein the episode ends early. That is because the expected timing is out of sync with regard to the content's entire duration.

At the time of the report by 9to5Mac, Apple has yet to confirm the issue on its official system status page. However, the page has not been updated in a timely fashion, which means certain issues are listed later than they should be.

Multiple Users Reported the Issue, Which Seems to Have Affected Different Variations of Titles

So far, multiple reports regarding the issue have been posted on X, previously known as Twitter. These issues seemed to affect different variations of other TV+ titles, which include popular titles like "Invasion" and "The Morning Show."

The problem, which seemed to have started recently, could potentially be caused by what was noted as a "backend CDN fault." Apple TV+ subscribers would likely need to wait until the company officially fixed its streaming servers.

Workaround Allows Users to Play the Videos in Full Length After Downloading It Locally

Users can apply a type of workaround that would involve downloading the complete episode to watch online. When tested, it was revealed that the feature was only possible on iOS and Mac.

This feature reportedly allows playback to happen correctly as long as the downloaded device is saved. According to iClarified, a Skip button would appear, but pressing it won't change anything.

iClarified also described the issue, saying Apple was showing minutes of foreign language credits before an episode started. It reportedly applied to all the different episodes, with the same problem repeating itself again and again.

The report also mentioned how there were multiple complaints about this issue. Apple has not yet issued an official fix as of press time, and there was no report on the number of users affected by this issue.
