YouTube TV is best known as the home of the NFL Sunday Ticket, but it was plagued by error messages earlier today. Users received notices from the company regarding the buffering on their streams.

The company said that if this affected their viewing experience, then they were not alone, and it was because of a bug. YouTube said the company is now fixing it to go back to its regular programming.

The TeamYouTube account on X, formerly known as Twitter, acknowledged the issue at 1:53 p.m. ET on Sunday, making afternoon games unwatchable.

NFL Sunday Streaming Lag: Is There a Fix?

It was regarded that YouTube is already working on a fix to alleviate this issue, but this may already arrive after the slated games for this Sunday.

However, it remains unknown if until when this issue would stem, with streamers left to look for alternatives especially for the many live games streamed through the service.

YouTube TV and its Streaming

Streaming platforms are the main sources of entertainment for some, and others rely on these for live streaming of different programs and content available, depending on the operator. YouTube TV remains one of the most feature-packed and has various offers, with the NFL Sunday Ticket being its top offer to gamers, available for an additional $300 per season, different from YouTube TV's monthly fees.

Despite this, YouTube TV still faces significant performance issues and problems, with the platform also seeing network errors or issues, and this has disrupted the streaming experience for users. The massive selection of YouTube TV is impressive, featuring different leagues like the NFL and NBA, but when hit with the said issues, these live games may be missed.

Now, another buffering issue surfaced for YouTube and YouTube TV users, and one may think that this may be because of their internet connections, but it is not. This recent issue is all on YouTube, with the company claiming that there are issues found on its streams, promising an upcoming fix to address the lags on the NFL Sunday Ticket streaming, along with other shows available.
