Several Apple TV users have taken to Twitter to complain about problems with YouTube and YouTube TV applications for tvOS. The users are seeing an error that says "no network detected" in YouTube apps, although the Apple TV being connected to the internet and other apps are working properly.

The outage also seems to be affecting other streaming devices from other manufacturers, such as Xbox, Roku, and smart TV. There is a major spike in complaints from YouTube and YouTube TV users after 4:00 p.m. ET, according to Downdector.

The issue doesn't seem widespread because the web versions of YouTube and YouTube TV are working. It seems that only set-top boxes are impacted.

Google, the parent company of YouTube, has yet to comment on the issue. It's unclear what caused the outage or when it will be fixed. The company is likely working on resolving the issue as quickly as possible.

The problem doesn't appear to be limited just one region or country. Instead, it's being experienced by people around the world who are using these apps on their set-top boxes. Fortunately for those affected by this outage, they can still access both services via web browsers such as Chrome or Safari on PC/Macs or mobile phones since there isn't an apparent issue with accessing them online at this time.

It's unclear how long the outage will last, but many users are hoping it resolves soon.

YouTube and YouTube TV

These outages are not the first time YouTube and YouTube TV have experienced issues with their services. In October 2019, YouTube and YouTube TV were down for some users due to a "technical issue". In April 2020, YouTube TV was down for some users due to an "internal server error".

In addition to the outages, YouTube and YouTube TV have also experienced issues with buffering and loading times. Many users report that videos take longer than normal to load or buffer, which can be incredibly frustrating. Additionally, some users are experiencing problems with their search functions not working correctly and difficulty accessing certain channels on YouTube TV.

Overall, these outages and technical problems are causing headaches for many users who rely on YouTube and YouTube TV as an essential part of their daily lives. It's unclear how long this outage will last, but hopefully, it will resolve soon so everyone can get back to enjoying all the great content available on both platforms!
