Do you ever feel like buying a car online and having it delivered? If yes, then Amazon's future marketplace is for you, as the e-commerce company recently confirmed that this new feature would come next year for all. It also confirmed that it will start offering Hyundai vehicles in the United States starting this 2024, and this is part of both companies' partnership for this latest online venture.

Online car marketplaces mostly center on a company's website, and others only offer meet-ups or via dealerships, but Amazon is taking logistics to a whole new level.

The latest blog post from Amazon unveils the latest feature coming to its e-Commerce platform, and it will start selling cars, (yes, the drivable ones) via its online stores. There are two choices available from Amazon in receiving their cars, and first off, they would be available for purchase via the platform and picked up from respective dealerships selling them on the online store.

Second, there is Amazon's logistics service that will deliver the vehicle they purchase online, with the platform allowing customers to search for their preferred makes, variants, trims, and more.

Amazon, Hyundai's Partnership for Online Car Sale

Amazon and Hyundai announced this strategic partnership via their recent showcase over at the Los Angeles Auto Show, confirming their 2024 venture.

According to Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, Hyundai will be the first brand that will make its way to the e-commerce platform of the company and soon expand with other brands from dealerships.

Hyundai took this opportunity to also announce their further venture with Amazon, with Alexa coming to their next-gen vehicles as part of its infotainment system. Moreover, Hyundai is also joining the AWS cloud computing service for its operations.

Amazon's e-commerce Platform

The online shop Amazon has been one of the most significant platforms in the world, and this offers massive discounts and accessibility for all to buy via their computers or smartphones for what they want or need. It also sees massive benefits for its subscription-based membership, Amazon Prime, with the company recently adding new perks via "Buy with Prime."

In the recent offers by the platform, the company is also centering on its integration in various apps or experiences known worldwide, and one of its latest is its partnership with Meta. Through the Facebook Marketplace and Instagram Shop, Amazon will offer various items that are related to their wants, with the ads that would appear allowing users to buy directly off the e-commerce platform.

While Amazon mostly looks and feels the same apart from its UI/UX upgrades through the years, it remains one of the most iconic platforms for everything one could possibly think of to purchase online. That expands yet again in their latest announcement and partnership with Hyundai, as vehicles are now available for direct purchase on the platform, also offering deliveries depending on dealership stocks.
