Redefining the Yachting Experience

Representing a paradigm shift, Interesting Engineering reported that the 44-foot marvel Mayla GT combines the sleekness of carbon-fiber design with versatile powertrain options, redefining the yachting experience.

Emerging from the innovation hub of Germany, Mayla is making waves with its game-changing vessel, the Mayla GT, which seamlessly marries the performance of a speedboat with the opulence of a luxury yacht.

The visionaries behind Mayla, Christopher Gelsdorf and Olivier Arnault, have artfully integrated their expertise in sports car manufacturing with a profound passion for boating. The result is a 44-foot GT that transcends aesthetics, emerging not just as a visual spectacle but as a powerhouse on the water.

Boasting over 3,000 horsepower under its hood, this carbon-fiber superboat is poised to dominate the seas, offering a compelling blend of style and performance for maritime enthusiasts.

Carbon-Fiber Elegance Meets High-Powered Performance

Mayla's dedication to groundbreaking design takes center stage in the GT, where innovation meets sophistication.

Crafted with a hull composed entirely of lightweight carbon prepeg, weighing a mere 3.8 tons, this vessel challenges the conventional notion of a yacht, resembling more of a racing powerboat and signaling a new era in luxury sports boats.

To optimize on-water performance, New Atlas reported that Mayla integrates twin transversal steps and patented Petestep deflectors into the GT's design.

These features contribute to improved efficiency, reduced noise levels, and a smoother, more stable ride. The Mayla GT emerges as a harmonious blend of power, efficiency, and style.

Beyond its emphasis on speed, the Mayla GT offers a realm of choices. Buyers can tailor their yachting experience by selecting from a diverse range of powertrains, including gas, diesel, electric, or hybrid options.

From the entry-level 650-hp supercharged V8s to the high-performance 3,100-hp GTR-R model, Mayla caters to a spectrum of preferences for thrill-seekers.

For eco-conscious enthusiasts craving speed, the 2,200-hp all-electric E-GT model promises a swift 50 knots. Sustainability converges with exhilaration in the diesel-electric hybrid E-GTR, capable of reaching speeds of up to 60 knots.

Mayla ensures there's a GT model catering to every taste and preference on the seas. The Mayla GT is a celebration of the journey itself. It creates a sun-drenched sanctuary for up to eight passengers, featuring a sundeck, wet bar, and BBQ.

Beneath the deck, the Mayla GT transforms into a floating oasis. A well-appointed cabin awaits, boasting a double bed, sofa lounge, and an entertainment system, complemented by a head featuring a separate shower.

Whether you're hosting a small gathering or seeking a private escape, the Mayla GT caters to diverse needs. Mayla's unwavering commitment to redefining luxury powerboats culminates in the global debut of the Mayla GT at Boat Düsseldorf 2024.
