The massive rebrand of Gemini could be better for Google, and this led to the latest announcement that promises to bring back several Assistant features for a more familiar and intuitive experience. Its latest AI development was said to be the most powerful system in the world, earlier regarded as a "GPT killer" and one that would bring the top features for the world.

While the Gemini is the most powerful, people have become accustomed to the renowned Google Assistant AI, especially with several nifty features that are a must-have.

Google's product lead for Gemini, Jack Krawczyk, recently provided a recap of Gemini's Day 2 availability, and here, the executive claimed that there was massive feedback regarding the new tech, which talked about what it lacked. Here, he addressed many things people liked, but he also highlighted the features that had problems or what people missed the most from its Assistant rebrand.

Among the several things to address is the Android app "not available" issue, which it will shortly bring to the regions that faced the problems.

Moreover, AI's "preachy" guardrails will also get priority. Still, at the top of its list is Gemini's refusals.

Assistant tasks like calendars, reminders, and routine extensions will also see a fix coming soon, as per Krawczyk.

What to Expect from Google Gemini's Assistant AI Features?

The list is long for Gemini's issues upon launch, which the public did not appreciate from the chatbot, something which Krawczyk and Google promised to fix immediately. But for those looking for improved power, the company offers the more powerful version with a free 2-month subscription for Gemini Advanced.

Lastly, the product lead also recognized Gemini's unavailability to Google Workspace accounts, which would also be part of the fix for Advanced.

Google Gemini and What it Offers Now

Instead of a 2024 release for the Gemini AI, Google brought it early for the world to experience, seeing it last December, and boasts of its massive capabilities with it, centering on a significant upgrade for its AI features. First off, Gemini AI is setting the bar for Google as it is its multimodal model, with the first iteration offering three different sizes: the Ultra, Pro, and Nano.

Moreover, Google launched the AI Studio alongside it, and the feature was meant to offer Gemini to developers and those looking to integrate the experience on their respective platforms.

With Gemini on the rise, Assistant is taking its leave and entrusting all of the artificial intelligence helping hand and features to the new model.

Supposedly, this change from Assistant to Gemini will bring Google immense success, setting it apart from other models and companies and bringing a new experience for users. However, it saw mixed reactions from the general public, and some felt that this new AI should have included several renowned features, soon to be added, as promised by Google.
