The latest update from the Xbox podcast featuring its top executive, Phil Spencer, claimed that four one-year-old games are coming to other famous consoles in the world. Microsoft's decision is ushering in a new era company where it is sharing its games with other platforms, and this is after the company's exclusive take on these titles that were kept on Xbox.

Despite this massive revelation from the company, reports claim that it will not include the likes of Bethesda's Starfield, as well as the upcoming Indiana Jones game.

Phil Spencer's recent appearance on the Xbox Podcast's "Updates on the Xbox Business" confirmed that four games are coming to other consoles, particularly with its top rivals in the industry.

Here, Spencer said that it is "just four games, not a change to our kind of fundamental exclusive strategy."

Moreover, the top gaming boss of Microsoft's console division said that the reason behind it is "the long-term health of Xbox in mind."

Despite mentioning the other console availability, the Xbox boss did not mention anything specific here, regarding the teams of developers to be the ones making those announcements.

Spencer also noted that this is no longer new to the company, especially with ABK's parent company, Zenimax's acquisition. He went as far as to saying that Microsoft and Xbox are already "one of the largest game publishers on PlayStation" in the present.

However, it was highlighted by Spencer, while not naming the specific titles here, that it would not be sharing Starfield or Indiana Jones and the Great Circle in this future availability.

Microsoft and Xbox's Game Distribution

Earlier this year, there were massive rumors behind Microsoft and Xbox's plans to be game distributors and publishers in the future of the gaming industry, moving away from exclusive releases on its console. One of the games rumored was the upcoming Bethesda development, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, with the action-adventure coming to the PlayStation 5.

Moreover, further speculations turned to the other Microsoft and Bethesda games released last year, particularly, with the open-world space adventure known as Starfield.

Another famed PlayStation third-party title is also possibly seeing a PS5 release, with the upcoming The Elder Scrolls VI rumored to be a multi-console drop.

However, all of these are only rumors, and the recent Xbox Podcast episode featured Phil Spencer, with gamers expecting that this would answer the many questions they have about the future of the console and its titles.

In the latest claims from Spencer, Microsoft, and Xbox, four games are coming to other rival consoles, but shied away from Starfield and Indiana Jones, with the titles still under speculation now.
