Another Fortnite x Star Wars crossover may be in the works, as a leaker was able to find this latest unfinished development in the latest update of the game. According to @notkrae, the weapon found in the game's codes is the Wookie Bowcaster, showing off how this weapon works in the game, showing the powerful capabilities it delivers to gamers.
The weapon's capabilities were also shown by the leaker, with it firing red laser blasts like what the renowned film franchise demonstrated.
Moreover, users need to charge up each shot to deliver the powerful blows it will deal, expected to arrive later this season for gamers.
Leaks Claim This Character's Possible Arrival In-Game
ComicBook Gaming speculated that the Wookie Bowcaster would not be the only thing coming to Fortnite once it drops, particularly as it is a weapon tied closely to a famed Star Wars character, none other than Chewbacca. As per speculations, the weapon might add the Chewie skin alongside it, complementing both's arrival at the Battle Royale, featuring the loveable and formidable ally of the Resistance and Han Solo.
Fortnite x Star Wars' Crossover Events
It was back in 2019 when Star Wars first appeared on Fortnite as part of its crossover, following the hype when the third movie from the contemporary trilogy dropped with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker released in theaters. A year later on the so-called Star Wars day, May 4, 2020, Fortnite brought back special in-game items, Lightsabers, available on the Item Shop.
Fortnite initially introduced Ren, Finn, and Sith Trooper skins in the game, alongside special weapons and an exclusive live event premiere of the movie.
