Johnny Depp and his 28-year-old love, Amber Heard, just pulled a fast one on all of us. They have exchanged marriage vows at their home in West Hollywood, Los Angeles on Thursday, Feb. 5, just days before everyone thought they would have a wedding ceremony at Depp's Bahamas island on Saturday.

Heard will still get to walk down the aisle at her husband's private Little Halls Pond Cay island over the weekend. The couple met while they were filming The Rum Diary in 2011 and became engaged over the Christmas holidays.

This is not the first marriage for the 51-year-old eccentric method actor. He was previously married to Lori Anne Allison, a makeup artist, in the 80s. He was also in a long-term relationship with French singer Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has two children: Lily-Rose Melody Depp and John Christopher "Jack" Depp III. The pair were together for 14 years before they split in 2012.

For Heard, however, this would be her first marriage and the ceremony is sure to be a dream come true on the 45-acre private island with no less than six beaches to boast. A bit of trivia: one of the picturesque beaches was actually named after Depp's former partner, Paradis.

Other beaches on the island were named Gonzo, for Hunter S. Thompson; Lily Rose and Jack, after his kids; and Brando, another one of his mentors.

Of his blushing bride, Depp, whose quiet and private demeanor usually masks his emotions, especially when it comes to his life off-camera, was obviously smitten with Heard.

"[She's] a Southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me," he said in an interview last year.

Although fans of both Depp and Heard are probably green with envy right now and possibly just a little bit heartbroken that the two are now officially off the market, we all can't wait for some celebrity wedding photos of the two's Bahamas ceremony ... and party!
