The award-winning early learning platform, ABCmouse, is teaming up with NASA to bring space exploration content into its newly reimagined platform, ABCmouse 2. The goal: to introduce children ages 2 to 8 to the wonders of the universe through interactive, age-appropriate learning.

Through this partnership, ABCmouse will integrate content drawn from NASA's flagship missions, like Artemis, the James Webb Space Telescope, Chandra, and Dragonfly, into its curriculum of games, videos, books, and exploration activities. Kids can tour the moon, probe planetary mysteries, gaze at stars, or follow astronaut missions, guided by ABCmouse's familiar characters.

Alex Galvagni, CEO of Age of Learning (the parent company behind ABCmouse 2), emphasized the synergy of combining NASA's real scientific material with ABCmouse's educational design:

"Our mission is to help children build a lifelong love of learning, and this partnership with NASA does that through the wonder of space exploration," he said. "Having worked at NASA previously, I know firsthand how space exploration captivates young minds, so I'm excited to bring that same inspiration to early learners. By combining NASA's incredible missions with ABCmouse's proven educational approach, we're deepening engagement, igniting imagination, and creating experiences that show children the universe is theirs to explore."

Galvagni's personal history includes a stint at NASA's Ames Research Center, where he spent four years doing research in robotics and AI early in his career. That background gives him a rare insider's perspective on how to bring the awe of space into a learning platform.

A limited set of NASA-inspired activities is now available in ABCmouse 2 at no cost, with additional content rolling out through 2026 and full access for premium subscribers.

According to NASA's learning resources initiative, "NASA investments in STEM engagement are focused on building a future STEM workforce, through program elements designed to bolster capacity and to attract, engage and enable students to move toward STEM careers through NASA-unique opportunities."

The collaboration underscores ABCmouse's ambition not only to teach core subjects like literacy and math, but to infuse early learning with wonder, curiosity, and scientific exploration.

For educators and families, the move offers a new way to nurture curiosity in the youngest learners and perhaps to plant the seeds of future explorers, scientists, or engineers.
