Barely a week after the launch, Rockstar Games has released the first patch for Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) - the PC version. The Patch 1.01 fixes several problems being reported by players such as the frame rate issue, game crashes, erroneous eyebrow, birds not flying correctly and more.

The Patch 1.01 fixes the strange issue that arose via Windows usernames which had certain characters that were not alphanumeric, preventing GTA V from being installed on the PC.

To counter the issue, at the time, Rockstar Games provided a workaround for those facing the problem which involved the creation of a new admin user account on the affected Windows PC.

Patch 1.01 fixes the problem which prevented GTA V from launching properly. Developer Rockstar's patch notes reveal that the launcher will deploy less CPU to avoid the game crashes. The fixed frame rate drop issue which gamers encountered while driving through Los Santo is also fixed.

The slew of fixes the new patch for GTA V also include changes to the missing eyebrows or other features which went missing in transition when the characters from GTA Online were shifted to the PC version. The patch also adds a grid that will aid putter when they play golf at the country club.
