The swirling rumors surrounding the Galaxy S6 Active, another version of Samsung's latest flagship smartphone, intensified with the appearance of the smartphone's name in the Samsung Plus program page.

The Samsung Plus program provides Samsung device owners with additional benefits, including video chat assistance, discounted offers and replacement services, depending on the tier level that the user is in within the program.

The Galaxy S6 Active is listed under the Samsung devices covered by Samsung Plus, and is shown as having launched along with the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge back on April 10. That is strange though, as despite the many rumors about the smartphone, Samsung has yet to officially confirm that it will be releasing such a device.

With the appearance of the Galaxy S6 Active under the Samsung Plus program, perhaps this is the best confirmation that the device will be coming and is not just a rumor, while the world waits for Samsung to finally confirm the smartphone.

New images of the Galaxy S6 Active have been leaked recently, showing the smartphone with either a black-based or a white-based camouflage color option. The smartphone carries the waterproof feature found in the Galaxy S5 that was absent in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Previously leaked images of the device reveals that the smartphone has a similar rugged look compared to the previous Active devices of Samsung, bolstered by a rear case that comes with screws.

The Galaxy S6 Active also recently just passed through the Federal Communications Commission for certification, and it seems that the smartphone will only be sold exclusively by AT&T. Samsung and AT&T have previously released rugged versions of the company's flagship smartphones, starting with the launch of the Galaxy S4 Active in June of 2013 by AT&T.

As mentioned, there has been no definite date for the release of the Galaxy S6 Active, mainly due to the fact that the company has not yet even made an official announcement regarding the device.
