It's Destiny, so of course yet another leak has hit the net.

Most would assume that, since the game's second expansion just launched, fans would be distracted by all of the new content. To be fair, there are plenty of players diving into all of Destiny's new modes - but there are just as many who are clawing and scratching for any bits of info surrounding the game's future. Specifically, any Destiny fans that aren't knee-deep in the Prison of Elders are likely trying to figure out if The Taken King is real or not.

What's The Taken King, you ask? According to rumors, it's Destiny's upcoming third expansion: while Bungie has yet to offer up any sort of clarification (as developers are wont to do), fans have been pouring over a leak from last month that seemingly confirms that a third expansion is on its way. Trademarks and logos seem to confirm that Bungie's massive content update for this fall is titled The Taken King, and yet another leak is adding more fuel to the fire.

This time, however, it's not the result of data mining or hacking the game - this time, it's all thanks to Red Bull.

First appearing as part of a Reddit thread, the Red Bull/Destiny promotion seems to confirm the game's third expansion. The finalized Taken King logo that fans had already uncovered is present on the packaging, and considering said packaging is already on a physical item, it's unlikely that it's a fake or some kind of prototype. On top of all that, the site referenced on the boxes actually works, and takes users to an 'Under Construction' page. Were it fake, the site just wouldn't work - the fact that it does suggests that it's actually real.

With E3 just a few weeks away, it looks like Bungie and Red Bull are gearing up for another huge promotional push. Given the timing, it's possible that The Taken King will be the finalized form of the 'Comet' leak that made its way online earlier this year - the same update that Bungie touted as 'Destiny 2.0.' Whether or not that's the case is yet to be seen, but it's starting to look like E3 might hold some big news for Destiny fans.

Of course, as with all rumors and leaks, it's important to take it all with a grain of salt. While the evidence certainly seems legitimate, there's still a chance that some of it's not as real as it looks - as always, Bungie's got the final say when it comes to official announcements.

That being said, anyone interested in The Taken King should probably keep an eye out for new info at this year's E3...
