LG's new flagship G4 was recently released by all major U.S. carriers. Consumers looking to get their hands on an unlocked and contract-free variant can score one for $570.
LG has been making good on its promise of putting more focus on its smartphone lineup in order to compete with Apple and Samsung. The company's previous flagship handset, the LG G3, was a hit with consumers thanks to it being the first major smartphone to ship with a 2560 by 1440 quad-HD display.

The LG G4 retains the 5.5-inch quad-HD display that debuted on the G3 but improves upon it by using new IPS Quantum technology that produces 20 percent greater color reproduction, 25 percent brightness improvement and greater contrast when compared with the G3's display, according to LG.
