Warner Bros. is planning to release 10 movies in the DC Cinematic Universe in the next few years, according to Time-Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes.

The man seems very excited about the prospects of future DC films and even went on to say that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the most anticipated movie coming out in 2016.

The most interesting aspect of what he had to say, however, was about releasing 10 DC films in just a few years. The studio had announced those 10 films to be released from 2016 through 2020.

Here are the list of films announced by Warner Bros. back in 2014:

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Suicide Squad (2016)

Wonder Woman (2017)

Justice League - Part One (2017)

The Flash (2018)

Aquaman (2018)

Shazam (2019)

Justice League - Part Two (2019)

Cyborg (2020)

Green Lantern (2020)

However, we should bear in mind that anything could change before 2020, so whatever Warner Bros. is planning right now might even never happen.

There's even a chance for a Man of Steel sequel before 2020, and the same can be said about Batman. We say this because it is quite strange to see a list of DC movies spanning four years without solo movies for Superman and the Caped Crusader.

At the end of the day, we can only hope things turn out well for Warner Bros. because fans all around the world would love to see these movies become a reality. The studio is already making history by placing Batman and Superman in the same movie for the first time.

The DC Cinematic Universe kicked off with Man of Steel and will continue with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad in 2016.
