Leaked reports about the upcoming new Moto smartphones from Motorola have been sending fans into a frenzy of speculation about what the new devices could offer.

The latest leak coming from HelloMotoHK says the third-generation Moto X will have a number of features that take advantage of their absence in rival flagships.

The report indicates that the upcoming Moto X 2015 will have a microSD slot and a large 3,600 mAh battery. It will also have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a massive 21 MP back camera, a 5 MP front camera and dual-SIM support in some markets.

The rumors also say that the Moto X will have the six-core Snapdragon 808 processor working under to deliver satisfactory performance for average users. It is also said that the device will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The rumored features of the third-gen Moto X seems to suggest that the company has taken efforts to greatly improve the Moto X of 2014. If the new reports are accurate, this could mean that Moto fans will have even more reasons to stay loyal to the brand.

Rumors have also indicated that along with the Moto X 2015, a new Moto G will also be unveiled at the upcoming Motorola event. The new Moto G is said to have a water-resistant frame, LTE, a 13 MP back camera and a 5 MP from camera. It will also be compatible with MotoMaker.

The Motorola unveiling will take place on July 28 with simultaneous events occurring in three major cities, London, Sao Paulo and New York. With the tagline "A better mobile relationship is on its way," the event likely aims to showcase new and improved models from the Lenovo-owned company.
