The much-awaited release for the Batman: Arkham Knight video game last June proved that the Gotham hero still has the battling touches to compete with the varied games in the market.

Though the PC version is reportedly not doing so well, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are quickly making the game one of the best-selling video titles this year. What's even better is that the new patch for the game has been released and its awesomeness comes with new features, ensuring an even better gaming experience.

The new patch is reportedly 1.6GB, which means that the total patches thus far for the game has reached a whopping 4.3GB in size. The major update does seem to take too much space, but you can see from the list of updates below it's worth allowing your hard drive to go through the process.

Updates for Batman: Arkham Knight are:

–Photo mode. The new feature is a menu-based option, which allows gamers to take freeze-frame photos while playing.

–For non-English territories, a new feature called the Force Original Voice Cast option is added.

–Updates for downloadable content and WBPlay

–Fixes for graphics, UI, localization, audio, and general gameplay

–Support for the August additional content

–DLC support, which will include the 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack and The Bat-Family

–Skins Pack, new story missions, additional Super-Villains, iconic Batmobiles, advanced challenge maps, new race track, and sleek new character skins.

For PC users, don't fret as game developer Rocksteady is reportedly working on fixing the concerns and bugs that have plagued the PC version of the game.

The game was launched on June 23 for Microsoft Windows, PS4 and Xbox One and is reported to be the fastest and highest selling video game for the month of June, beating the record of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox users can check out update 1.05 for Batman: Arkham Knight on the PlayStation Network.
