Bethesda Game Studios just announced that it would not be making additional copies of its Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition for the November release of the latest installment for the Fallout series.

Though reports indicate that copies of the Pip-Boy Edition of the game are already sold out in most places, fans of the game will be glad to know that with patience and a little ingenuity, they can still have their very own Pip-Boy that will allow them to play Fallout 4 anywhere they are via their smartphone.

Currently, a Craigslist listing sells a copy of Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition for $400. We also found a couple of eBay listings for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the same price. Just be sure you're willing to shell out the extra $100 for the shipping on top of the $400 though, as these copies come all the way from Canada.

If they don't mind owning an alternative version to the Fallout 4 wearable Pip-Boy, there are many available choices in the market. Even though these alternative versions don't look exactly like the official Pip-Boy from Bethesda, they reportedly do work well with the Fallout 4 app, and best of all, they only cost a fraction of the reselling prices posted online.

If players still can't get their hands on a copy of the highly sought after wearable Pip-Boy, they can always build one. Avid Fallout fan Yvo de Haas posted details of a 3D printable version for the Pip-Boy 3000 Mark IV and the video post, which can also be found on YouTube, is enough to inspire gamers to head to the nearest 3D printing machine and print their own Pip-Boy.

The 23-year-old Yvo shared details and dimensions of the printable 3D Pip-Boy project he started and admits that it is still a work in progress.

"The people at Bethesda really tried their best to make the Pip-Boy as difficult as possible," Yvo said.

Yvo had to contend with the limited details and information he gathered from the teaser trailer and E3 videos of the Pip-Boy. In terms of the sizing issue of the Pip-Boy model, Yvo came up with three different sizes to accommodate most smartphones. You can find the full detail on his website.

Fallout 4 release date for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows is on Nov. 10.
