Yesterday morning, LG announced the newest and most distinct addition to its family of wireless audio devices, the LG Music Flow Wireless Curved Sound Bar.

The device houses four separate speakers for increased depth and a bass-heavy subwoofer within its elongated body, boasting a 360 W, 4.1-channel speaker system and wall-mountable design. It also features an i-Sound mode, which automatically adjusts the speaker's output to the content being watched.

Launched earlier this year, LG's Music Flow was one of the first systems to feature Google Cast (a response, in some ways, to Apple's AirPlay), which will let you send music from your Android-based devices to the various available Music Flow devices. This would allow Music Flow to work with nearly any streaming services app, including but not limited to Songza, TuneIn, iHeartRadio and Rdio – all connected through their Wi-Fi network.

In addition to being equipped with full Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, the new Curved Sound Bar also features a Multi-room Mode, which can be used to create a large-scale sound system for the entire house or create multiple channels playing different kinds of music in different rooms, all synced to one device. It is also compatible with TV remotes from over eight manufacturers.

This specific model, named LAS855M, is the fourth to come out of the Wi-Fi streaming Sound Bar family (although the first with this unique design) and will be available at U.S retailers this October at a price of $699.
