Dell announced the introduction of new versions of its Venue 7 and Venue 8  tablets, new Inspiron series 2-in-1 devices and an upgraded Inspiron 20 3000 series all-in-one computer on June 2.

Dell Venue Tablets

The updated Dell Venue 7 and 8 tablets offer entertainment options and productivity in a thin and light design. The Venue 7 features a 7-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) screen, while the Venue 8 steps up to an 8-inch full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) screen. Both versions feature brighter viewing angles and a better viewing experience, even outdoors. Premium audio technology from Waves MaxxAudio Pro ensures great sound quality and can be paired with optional portable speakers.

Both tablets include an Android 4.4-inch Kit Kat operating system and Intel Atom processors (Z3460 for the Venue 7, Z3480 for the Venue 8) to drive faster web browsing and media editing. Both tablets include 16 GB of flash storage, 1 GB of RAM and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Dell Venue 8 also offers wireless charging. A cradle to facilitate charging will be available soon.

Both tablets will be available July 1, starting at $159.99 for the Dell Venue 7 and $199.99 for the Dell Venue 8.

Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 Devices

Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 devices are designed to offer the best aspects of PC and tablet usage in one portable device. Both the 11-inch and 13-inch systems feature an innovative hinge structure that rotates 360 degrees between laptop, easel, tent and tablet configurations. It also allows users to flip from scrolling to typing instantly, and is accessible through a 10-finger capacitive touch display. New features on all Inspiron products include 20 GB of Dropbox cloud storage.

The Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1 is powered by up to Intel Pentium quad-core processors, and features 500 GB of storage space. Battery stamina can extend to 8 hours, 18 minutes. The display features edge-to-edge, wide-viewing angles.

The Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 includes 4th generation Intel Core processors. Upscale features include a backlit keyboard and a 13.3-inch display in resolutions up to Full HD.

Dell Inspiron 20 3000 Series All-in-One (AIO)

The new Inspiron 20 3000 Series AIO is the latest entry-level AIO that features a 19.5-inch HD display and up to Intel Pentium quad-core processors. It is lightweight enough to be easily moved from location to location, offering laptop portability in a desktop computer. It includes an adjustable A-frame stand for multiple viewing options.
