Whether it was the Michael Jordan 'Like Mike' campaign or Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade waking up in cold sweat due to nightmares, Gatorade commercials involving NBA superstars tend to be great.

Well, how would you like to star in one of your own? But not just any Gatorade basketball commercial. This one would would have you starring as your own character in an NBA 2K16 Gatorade commercial built for the game.

The sports drink maker took to its Twitter account to briefly explain Tuesday.

Become a @Gatorade athlete in @NBA2K's MyCareer mode and earn this exclusive #NBA2K16 commercial

Just like the tweet says, the first step to landing the commercial is to become a Gatorade athlete in the video game's MyCareer mode.

Once that's done, you'll compete in a Gatorade live practice, running intense one-on-one drills and team drills that test everything from your ball handling to shooting and defense. Upon turning on the Gatorade live practice in the game's MyCareer mode, gamers will immediately notice the sports drink's logo plastered everywhere from halfcourt to on the stanchions and walls.

NBA 2K16, which finally hit stores Tuesday (September 29), even allows your character to buy Gatorade in the game.

Nothing wrong with quenching your thirst...and becoming an NBA 2K star in the process. Excelling in the practice mode will give you the chance to grab your own commercial.
