Acer's new Aspire Z3-700 All-In-One (AIO) PC is "made to move," boasting a built-in battery that allows users to take it anywhere.

The company unveiled its latest AIO during a special even ton Monday, Oct. 12, in Taipei, showcasing its Windows 10 offerings.

Aside from promising specs and neat features thanks to Windows 10, however, the Acer Aspire Z3-700 drew attention with its promise of portability - something not so common for AIOs. Consumers may not be rushing to take their AIOs to work in a coffee shop, for instance, but Acer nonetheless wants to offer the option.

The new AIO from Acer has a 17.3-inch touchscreen and packs its own battery that promises to last up to five hours on a single charge, which allows the PC to serve somewhat like a giant, portable tablet.

"Acer has a heritage of delivering the best user experience through innovation in technology and design," touts Jason Chen, Acer CEO and Corporate Vice President.

The Acer Aspire Z3-700 comes with either Pentium or Celeron processing options and up to 8GB of RAM, as well as SSD or HDD storage options. The AIO further offers a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) on its 10-point capacitive multi-touch display. Stylus input is also in the mix for "even more precise control."

On the audio side, the new Acer Z3-700 AIO aims to deliver a superior experience, thanks to Acer's True Harmony Plus technology with Dolby Audio.

"The Aspire Z3-700 all-in-one PC is designed for productivity and entertainment tasks, and can function like a tablet or a full-on notebook," Microsoft adds, boasting how well its Windows 10 works on Acer's new AIO.

"Acer and Microsoft frequently collaborate to provide optimal Windows experiences. We're excited to see the ways in which these fantastic portables make the best use of Windows 10!"

When it comes to pricing and availability, the new Acer Aspire Z3-700 will become available for purchase in EMEA by the end of the year, starting at €599 (about $680). Acer has yet to offer details regarding the device's launch and price in North America, but is expected to offer more information shortly.
