Fans of the post-apocalyptic era game Fallout Shelter will be elated to learn that developer Bethesda Softworks has released an update that offers new features such as 3D Touch, customization options and more.
On April 21, the version 1.5 update for Fallout Shelter was pushed out bringing with it several enhancements to make the game more exciting.
"Fallout Shelter Update 1.5 is here to make your life as an Overseer easier! With Update 1.5, you can now scrap your unwanted items and turn them into Junk to build even more gear. This is your chance to clear out the clutter in your Storage rooms and craft some cool new stuff," said Bethesda.
The update 1.5 also brings new options for customization that are added to the Barbershop. Gamers will be able to kit their vault dwellers in civilian outfits that can be crafted or sometimes found in lunchboxes. The developer also reveals that gamers can even make their vault dwellers resemble ghouls!
While the ability to craft was introduced in update 1.4 in March - which brought the ability to make outfits, armors and weapons - thanks to the current version 1.5 of the update, gamers will be able to do plenty more such as using the unwanted stuff or items to make useful gear and declutter.
The latest update for Fallout Shelter also brings 3D Touch support for those who use an iPhone 6s Plus or iPhone 6s. Thanks to this new feature, overseers will be able to directly load their vaults and skip the main menu. It will also aid gamers in assigning vault dwellers to specific rooms, as well as in accessing the Storage Room with a mere tap on the room.
