Price wars and conversion of customers to a competing network carrier is getting intense and T-Mobile is leaving no stone unturned to have an edge in this rivalry.
Just two days after T-Mobile announced its Third Free Line promotion offer, the network carrier is again hogging the spotlight for yet another offer to incite customers to switch over from rivals carriers.
T-Mobile will now be offering its potential and existing customers free iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones at a discounted price. The offer is a limited one and starts from March 3.
What's The Catch?
Although T-Mobile is writing in bold pink letters that the iPhone 7 will be available for free, it won't exactly come without any cost.
First and foremost, the offer, which can be availed from March 3, gives old and new customers the opportunity to get an iPhone 7 for free and the iPhone 7 Plus for $100. However, to avail the promotional offer one has to switch to T-Mobile's ONE or Simple Choice Unlimited Data Plan. That is not all, one also has to get a non T-Mobile phone number to port to the carrier, as well as get a qualifying handset traded in and get a iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus on an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).
Quite a number of clauses one has to fulfill just to get hands on Apple's latest flagship, but the deal is yet to be completed. The redemption procedure of the offer is a whole different story altogether.
To redeem the offer one has to visit T-Mobile's retail store along with the handset that will be traded in. The credit points for the trade-in device will be given to the customer on spot after he or she has ported the number. Once the credit point comes in, it will reduce the cost of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The user, however, may have to give an installment depending on the amount of points that have been credited.
After the arrival of the credit points, the customer has to register online using the promo code 17Q1APLTRADE. Upon registering, the customer will be given a MasterCard prepaid via e-mail, which can be used to make the down payment of the iPhone or cover the remaining cost.

Interested customers can choose any of the smartphones from the list below to trade in at T-Mobile's retail store for an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.
