Things are not looking so good for former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star, Alfonso Ribeiro and his need to dance. Apparently, the star is suffering from back injuries and may have to drop out of Dancing with the Stars if he does not show signs of recovery.

So far, Alfonso Ribeiro and his partner are the only ones keeping Dancing with the Stars entertaining this year, which means if he manages to drop out, the show could lose quite a few viewers who are expecting him to come out on top.

While Alfonso is a great dancer, he is also a 43-year-old man. This means his body is not as fit when compared to his young days. The star knew this before entering the competition, though he did not expect his body to fail him, especially with only three weeks left.

"It's been really grueling for me, because it's constantly doing treatment on my body," Ribeiro tells TVGuide.com. "There's never enough hours in the day, because I've got to literally dance all day and then try to do treatment in between. So, I'll either do treatment in the morning or I do it in the evening. I had someone at my house last night show up at 9 p.m., working on me 'til10:30 p.m., working on my body, trying to help make it last. It's really been very frustrating."

As it stands, Alfonso Ribeiro has less than three weeks to fix the issue in his back or he might have to drop out. The doctors said that if he should perform with his back in the state it is right now, there is a possibility the star could cause permanent damage. We doubt he wants that; so fans should brace themselves for the worse.

Alfonso Ribeiro recently rocked Dancing with the Stars when he performed the ever awesome, Carlton Dance. For those unaware, he performed this dance for the first time on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and it has become pop culture classic ever since.

We wish all the best for Alfonso as he attempts to have his injured back fixed. It will not be easy, but with just little over two weeks left until the next dance off, a miracle could take place.
