A new game mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is on the way, hinting a Battle Royale to be added. Dubbed as "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone," this game will allow up to 200 players to compete for the victory.

What can be obtained from the leaks?
Though cinematics has already been dropped plus on this, screenshots have been going around as leakers try to uncover this "secret mode" and fortunately, have accidentally stumbled into the "Classified" lobby in-game. The Warzone menu has popped-up unexpectedly on a German player's game while he was playing Rust, the new map that has been added, with the caption translated to "Plunge into a unique battle with up to 200 other players to leave the battle as the last survivor." He was then prompted to complete a "training mode" before showcasing a new kind of menu solely for the Battle Royale game mode.
Will vehicles be added as well?
Vehicles will also have a big role in this game mode as one image was reportedly showing ATVs, SUVs, helicopters, cargo trucks, plus some tactical rovers that players can use in the game. Another detail was given light wherein revive systems called "supply stations" are also planned on being added. According to CaptainBadFoot on Twitter, Warzone will include a "ping" feature just like what Apex Legends have right now. Similar to Apex, it has been reported that Warzone will also have a triple squad mode called "Trios" along with other options like solo, doubles or duos, and squads. A new feature, "Gulag" was also leaked that will allow 1v1 eliminated players to battle other players with the winner getting to respawn back to the game.

The release date is still unknown to everyone as Warzone, and the Batlle Royale game mode still hasn't been confirmed by the developers yet. Gamers do agree that it is kind of too soon to be releasing this new mode since Season 2 had only just begun. As for cross-play, it is very likely that they will implement this on Warzone since they already have it on Modern Warfare as it is.
Cinematics of the Season 2 trailer has somewhat hinted this new Battle Royale game mode as well as it features soldiers jumping off a plane as to how BR game modes usually work. This is not the first rumor about that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Warzone Battle Royale Game mode, in fact, previous leakers have also shown that a new map will be featuring both Ground War and Spec Ops maps within its vicinity. Warzone will be a free-to-play standalone but will also be living within Modern Warfare.
