Proceed to Whiscash Pond!
After fulfilling the task, all you need to do now is to evolve your Pokemon. It would be best if you first headed north of the pokemon square to Whiscash Pond. You must only need to bring the Pokemon you wish to evolve. It is vital that you make that Pokemon a party leader of your Pokemon Team. Order your Pokemon to head out the Luminous Cave, and in there, will your Pokemon evolve if all the proper requirements are set.
Not just Evolve, but Mega Evolve!
Evolution is one thing; Mega Evolution is another-- it is not only changing the appearance of your Pokemon, but it also improves their types, ability, and stats. Mega evolution requires a Pokemon that can Mega Evolve as well. Certain Pokemons Like Blastoise and Venusaur are in that category and a few more others.

Take note that the Mega Evolution can only take up the duration of the dungeon. Always save it for critical situations such as Boss Fights and challenging dungeons.
