Last year, marred by the pandemic has seen massive relocation of people from metropolitan areas to more likable, more remote places, Florida's south-eastern coast being one of the most coveted destinations. The move gave a mighty boost to Florida's real estate market and created unique business opportunities for those who stood prepared for that. Marko Gojanovic, a former aspiring tennis player and a man of many talents and occupations, turned his eyes to real estate at this unique moment.

Years before the pandemic having given up his dream of becoming a professional tennis player, he dove into Miami's nightlife scene and spent years immersed in it. Seeing Miami as a land of opportunity, Marko got involved in various businesses, including nightclubs, hospitality, real estate, and most recently, non-fungible tokens. After the launch in 2020 of a high-end restaurant and beach club, Joia Beach, where Marko is a partner alongside Chris Paciello and Mio Danilovic, he has become quite a name in Miami. A year after its opening, Joia Beach continues to be one of the hottest spots in town.

Like Joia Beach continues to be a magnet for Miami residents, so does sunny and relaxed Florida for wealthy people from metropolitan areas all over the US. The pandemic did produce a change in the real estate paradigm causing the exodus to such havens as the Sunshine State. Seeing the trend, Marko decided to ride the wave and dedicate his time fully to the real estate business. Having closed an $18 million deal on Miami's North Bay Road he recently joined ONE Sotheby's International Realty bringing to the table the network of top-tier clients and his connections he nurtured over the last 15 years in Miami.  "I've always had an interest in real estate, but when I originally got my license, I was young and didn't make time for it," Gojanovic says. "But in the last year, I made a conscious decision to really study the market, dedicate my time to my clients, research homes and just go hard at it."

Marko is the epitome of the American Dream come true. Coming from humble beginnings, he managed to achieve stunning success through grit and inspiration. Despite his moving up in the world of hospitality and real estate, Marko remains disciplined and determined to move forward not resting on his laurels. Now that he is not involved in the nightlife hospitality businesses he has more time to dedicate to self-development and personal growth being aware that these are the prerequisites for further success. Now 41 years old, he spends more time reading, exercising, meditating, listening to podcasts. In short, he takes good care of his brain and brawn knowing he needs both to consolidate his success. "If you put in the hard work, things will open up, a breakthrough will follow," muses Marko.
