The Dark Knight is officially getting his day of celebration back. DC Entertainment announced the return of "Batman Day," which will be observed on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

"Batman Day" is a day when fans of the masked vigilante can celebrate their love of the superhero by visiting select comic shops, libraries and bookstores. The day is designed to honor Batman's appearances in comics, video games and more.

The select venues celebrating "Batman Day" will offer meet-and-greets with talent including renown artist Jim Lee (Batman: Hush), Grant Morrison (Batman issue #655), Scott Snyder (Batman: Gates of Gotham), David Finch (Batman: The Dark Knight), Brian Azzarello (The Dark Knight III: The Master Race), Cameron Stewart (Batman and Robin), Pat Gleason (Batman and Robin) — just to name a few.

Also participating are Dustin Nguyen (Batman: Street of Gotham), Tim Seeley (G.I Joe: A Real American Hero, Transformers), Tom King (Grayson), Dan Jurgens (The Adventures of Superman), Jeff Parker (Wonder Woman #86-87), Matthew Manning (The Batman Files), and Daniel Wallace (Batman: The World of the Dark Knight).

DC Entertainment is partnering up with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television, Capstone, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, and DK Publishing – along with other partners not yet announced – to provide fans with unique promotional tie-ins across media.

"Batman Day" will include activities, trivia and games. The event kit to the annual event honoring one of the most iconic superheroes can be found here.
