Fans of Joanne K. Rowling unite! J.K. Rowling showed up for an interview with Stephen Mayo for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Radio 2 Book Club and, not only did she talk about her books, she also revealed that she is currently writing a new one.

J.K. Rowling was invited to the interview as her pseudonym when writing her series of Cormoran Strike crime novels, Robert Galbraith, and at some point, she expressed that she has ideas for more traditional novels up her sleeve.

"Actually I have written part of a children's book that I really love so I'm definitely going to finish that," Rowling said. No details were given with regard to what the story could be about, other than she is most likely to use the J.K. Rowling name for it again, leading some to speculate or wish that it has something to do with the world Rowling built in the "Harry Potter" septology, just like how the West End play "Harry Potter and The Cursed Child" and the film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" came to life.

Scholastic Inc., publisher of her works in the United States, expressed its excitement over the possibility of another children's novel from Rowling. "We have no doubt that she will, once again, inspire even more young readers with her brilliant storytelling," Scholastic wrote in a statement.

Perhaps Rowling will give her fans and twitter followers some clues or riddles to discover what her new project is about, just like how she tweeted her riddle clue about Newt Scamander's activities prior to announcing that she was working on a screenplay for a "Fantastic Beasts" film trilogy. The first film is scheduled for release in 2016. Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, the adventurer and author of the book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," and is set in the 1920's Wizarding World of "Harry Potter."

Will we always be excited for J.K. Rowling announcements of her new books, no matter what name she chooses to use?

Always.
