"Guardians of the Galaxy" is riding positive buzz into its opening weekend, with pundits looking for a $60+ million haul. The movie is also holding at a stellar 89% on Rotten Tomatoes and looks to be one of the surprises of the summer.

Save for a few bright spots, this summer has been a dismal season. Enter the "Guardians of the Galaxy." The B-list band of rebels and unlikely comrades has already booked a sequel even before the film hits theaters. James Gunn's vision looks to be the salvation for an otherwise forgettable summer movie season.

As if all the kudos about the film are not enough, a Lego trailer for the film has been created to add to the positive buzz. YouTube user Forrest Whaley and animator Sean Willets put together an outstanding recreation of the "Guardians" trailer. Ironically, this years "Lego Movie" starred Star Lord himself, actor Chris Pratt.

The 30-second video packs in a whole of detail, adding to the already fun feel of the picture. This could be the film that grabs the tween and under crowd along with die hard comic book fans. "Guardians" was an odd choice for Marvel Studios, but with a Brian Michael Bendis comic book laying the ground work, the property has found a whole new audience.

Lego fans will rejoice at the outstanding recreation of one of the shorter "Guardians" TV spots from a few months back. The attention to detail is outstanding, and it seems to capture the light feel of the new movie. After "Guardians," Pratt can be seen next summer in "Jurassic World" and possibly a "Lego Movie" sequel. Still, a LEGO-fied Marvel Universe is pretty cool to see, and hopefully it will be a good viral springboard for the new movie this weekend.
