For six seasons, Jerry Seinfeld has been picking up his funny friends and colleagues as part of his online series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

However, Seinfeld is throwing quite the curveball to his viewers next season, beginning Dec. 30.

In the upcoming season's trailer, which was uploaded to the Internet on Monday, Seinfeld is seen driving around, sipping coffee and sharing laughs with the likes of Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Garry Shandling, Sebastian Maniscalco and Kathleen Madigan, but in the waning seconds of the clip, he pulls right up to the White House, whips out his cell phone and hears a familiar voice on the other end.

"White House," the voice says.

"Yes, may I speak with the President, please?" Seinfeld asks.

"Speaking," President Obama replies.

Yes, none other than the Commander-in-Chief will appear as a guest during the seventh season of Seinfeld's online series, as the particular episode takes a break from the comedians and actors that he traditionally features.

In fact, CBS News confirms that President Obama will kick off Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee's seventh season on Dec. 30 at 11:30 p.m. EST.

The trailer shows Seinfeld pulling up to the White House's South Lawn in a baby blue vehicle, which CBS News reports is a 1963 Corvette Stingray coupe.

Seinfeld picks cars to reflect his guest, as the comedic legend is likely to explain to the president why he chose that particular vehicle for him. There's no telling yet whether a presidential motorcade of Secret Service detail will be following them, as they drive around the White House and beyond.

The actual sit-down interview will take place in the White House itself, where they'll sit down for some coffee.

"Growing up in the '60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut — doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space," Seinfeld said in a statement about the special episode, as reported by CBS. "Being President and just a cool guy to hang out with at the same time made the experience my own personal moonwalk. It was an unforgettable day."

President Obama already appeared on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast earlier this year and Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis on FunnyorDie.com last year. This past Thursday night, he also tested his Alaskan survival skills on Running Wild with Bear Grylls.
