Vert has already proven itself in the wearable tech sports market, being a monitor that calculates the height of athletes' jump data in real-time right onto their smartphones.

For the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016's Unveiled event Monday at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the company announced that it has well ... taken things up a notch.

Vert is now introducing Vert 2, which goes the extra mile in collecting real-time data by measuring athletes' intensity. Basically, if you're an athlete who conscientously isn't giving your all and your coach is using Vert 2, your lack of effort is going to be outed through the technology's collection of data.

Vert 2 calculates everything from total G-forces to high/low intensity count, surges per minute, highest acceleration (Gs) and average peak acceleration (Gs).

Vert has accomplished this by taking its jump monitor, which looks like a flash drive, and integrating it with Zensah's compression apparel. Vert's technology rests in the waistband of Zensah's compression shorts, tracking and zapping data about your intensity to your coaches' smartphones to check your progress.

An athlete outfitted in Vert 2-embedded compression apparel did jumping-jacks, ran and jumped live at CES on Monday, demonstrating how accurate the Vert 2 technology is at tracking real-time intensity data.

Although Vert 2 is expected to be available this May on iOS and Android, the company's overall technology is getting its just due as founder Martin Matak told Tech Times at CES on Monday that "a couple of NBA teams" are using the technology, although he wouldn't divulge which ones, and that the Vert jump rate data was even used as its own statistic during a live college basketball game broadcast on ESPN last season.
