In April 2015, LeTV rolled out a few of its premier handsets called the Le Superphones: the Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le 1s and Le Max. Now LeTV has finally unveiled the hottest it's bringing to the market – the new flagship smartphone Le Max Pro.

Days into the New Year, Qualcomm boss Steven Mollenkopf announced that LeTV will be the company's first official customer to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor in its new flagship phone it showcased at CES 2016.

Without a doubt, LeTV's smartphones are deemed out of the ordinary in terms of design and specs. Since they have interested consumers in different parts of the globe, it's rather fitting that the China-based company announce yet another phone expected to become a rave among technophiles.

Even prior to its launch, the Le Max Pro has already generated quite a buzz after LeTV revealed that it will be carrying the much awaited Snapdragon 820 SoC, the most powerful processor from Qualcomm to date. Mollenkopf said during the press event at the big tech trade show that "these things are real."

Nevertheless, Mollenkopf added that LeTV's Le Max Pro is not the only handset that will carry the processor, since the chip is designed to fit 80 products not limited to smartphones.

Among the best selling points of the new LeTV smartphone is its multi-gigabit data-sharing capabilities. The processor will also enable dashboard visuals, data integration from sensors and real-time traffic.

Ten years ago, Qualcomm did not have the popularity it has now. After joining the smartphone industry, the company now sits toe-to-toe with the world's biggest microchip maker, Intel. Given that the company also ventures into a variety of markets, its next chips, the 820A and 820Am, will be specially designed to make smarter cars with advanced sensors and better navigation.

Apart from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the new Le Max Pro will also rock four Kryo CPU cores running at speeds of 2.2GHz, Adreno 530 GPU on 16nm process, Sense ID fingerprint technology, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, custom UI from LeTV, a whopping 21-megapixel OIS camera and ample RAM of 4 GB.
