WWE 2K15 will be the first wrestling game to land on next-generation consoles, and it isn't wasting any time in bringing top-notch visuals and exclusive modes.

While WWE 2K15 will be released this fall on last generation consoles as well as this newest generation, a number of game features, special editions and vastly improved visuals will only be available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

Those visuals can be seen for yourself in a number of images revealed from the game (left), depicting WWE superstars like John Cena and Randy Orton in all their next-generation glory. IGN revealed the game and learned that WWE 2K15 has five times the amount of animation data of WWE 2K14. That's because more than 50 days of motion capture sessions were conducted by developer 2K at their mo-cap facility, where they brought in WWE Superstars and digitally recreated all their signature moves for the game.

The next-gen version of WWE 2K15 will also include an exclusive career game mode. The mode has been lifted from NBA 2K14 and adapted for WWE, where players will be able to create their own wrestler in MyCareer and take him to the top, though more exact details aren't currently known at this time.

Of course, the improved power of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 over their predecessors also allows for greatly improved visuals. Even if the existing screens for the game are clearly labeled "work in progress," they are already better than anything that can be seen on last-gen hardware in the detail department. WWE 2K15 hits store shelves October 28 in a standard and exclusive next-gen "Hulkmania" edition.
