Los Angeles Dodger Yasiel Puig may have just begun to show his mutant superhero powers, so it won't be long before Professor Charles Xavier recruits Puig to his school of gifted youngsters.

All kidding aside, Puig continues to prove that he has otherworldly skills on the baseball field. After a disappointing at-bat, the Dodgers outfielder slammed his helmet down in the dugout only to have it ricochet back into his hand.

After many viewings of the viral video, it is unclear whether or not Puig planned on the helmet bouncing back into his hand, but it sure looks like he was ready for it.

As the video makes the rounds across the Internet, Puig's superhuman abilities are being called into question. The video speaks for itself, and, to say the least, is quite impressive for a mere mortal.

Puig's career started with him dangerously defecting from Cuba, so he already possesses the heroic traits needed for a big time hero. Still, the video is pretty amazing.
