The highly anticipated Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta is live now for the PS4, but it's available only this weekend.

As Tech Times previously reported, the beta runs from March 4 to 6, ending on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.

This means that interested gamers have until the end of today to get onboard the "stress test," as Sony PlayStation announced. The Uncharted 4 open beta is live right now, available for download from the PlayStation Store.

The beta package weighs 10.3 GB and will allow users to choose whether to download the single or the multiplayer component first. This way, the desired component would be ready to play faster and the rest will continue downloading in the background.

The Uncharted 4 beta stress test comes with three maps, which will include locations from the game's single player component. The game promises to rock some heavy action, especially since Uncharted 4 will be Nathan Drake's final adventure.

When it comes to the full Unchartered 4: A Thief's End game, fans will have to wait a little longer for the release. Naughty Dog and Sony delayed the launch again, this time postponing it until May 10.

"In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time," reads the official announcement.

On the other hand, the game is reportedly "phenomenal," so in the end gamers might not mind the delay so much. It's preferable to have a great, polished game arrive later than to have it launch sooner, but with various unresolved bugs and glitches because it was rushed to market.

We've all seen our fair share of botched game launches such as the Batman: Arkham Knight mess, so waiting two weeks longer should be well worth it if the game manages to offer the great experience players are waiting for.

Until then, jump on the Uncharted 4 beta stress test to try out the Multiplayer and help create the best experience. A PlayStation Plus subscription is not necessary to join the stress test.
