For the first time ever, Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy award-winning actor Peter Dinklage hosted the NBC comedy sketch show, Saturday Night Live (SNL), on April 2. Of course, it was only natural that SNL would take advantage of Dinklage's presence by making a spoof of the HBO drama Game of Thrones while the actual Tyrion Lannister was with them.

It was actually already expected that SNL would go down the Game of Thrones spoof route. After all, it did come out with its own version of the Game of Thrones promotional poster, as seen below.

The SNL spoof of the award winning HBO drama consisted of a three-minute-and-20-second behind-the-scenes sneak peek of what fans can expect from the sixth season of Game of Thrones. It starred, of course, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Kate McKinnon as Emilia Clarke and Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons, Taran Killam as Iain Glen and Ser Jorah Mormont, and Bobby Moynihan as the motion capture (mo-cap) actor for Drogon, Daenerys' largest dragon.

The video opens with Dinklage and McKinnon as Emilia Clarke introducing themselves and their characters before giving fans a sneak peek of season six. Dinklage, in a "solo interview," then reveals that Tyrion will have a chance to share the screen with the scene stealers - the dragons - for the coming season because he is already in the service of Daenerys.  The video cuts to a filming footage of Tyrion calming people's fears about the dragon as Drogon stands behind him.

Of course, Drogon is troublesome both as a dragon and mo-cap actor and the spoof shows just how much. Moynihan, as the mo-cap actor, is heard talking behind other actors even if Drogon is not supposed to be able to talk and also kicks doors open before exiting out of it-which they all agree dragons don't do.

Then again, all is well until mo-cap Drogon has to go to the toilet but is forced to hold it in and the harness gets stuck while he is hoisted up.

I'm sure we all know what happened, judging from what was happening behind the Khaleesi during the solo interview with "Emilia Clarke." Watch the whole spoof below.
